  • Do you offer bulk order discounts?
    Yes we definitely do! Bulk Orders are orders of more 7 or more of a singular item. All items besides custom dolls are available for bulk order, including keychains, seasonal items, and plushies. You may not resell any of your items. By ordering 7 or more of one item, you’ll get a 20% discount off the individual sale price. Perfect for teachers, coaches, and childcare workers! You can chose specific colors for each item. Please reach out to us via email (candycapcrochet@gmail.com) if you would like to place a bulk order. The 20% discount does not apply automatically when ordering through the shop.
  • My doll got stained, how should I wash it?
    Since all our dolls are handmade with chenille yarn, washing them in a washing machine can lead to loose yarn tails, fraying, and matting of the soft yarn. As such we recommend that you spot clean only using warm water and a bit of soap. If you must wash your item, we suggest you place the item in a pillow case and wash it on a delicate, cold cycle to avoid damage. Air dry is preferred for both methods as heat can melt the Polyfil stuffing.
  • Are your plushies baby-safe?
    No, none of our listed items are baby-safe. We use safety eyes that can be pulled out with enough force and pose a choking hazard. Custom look-a-like dolls also have wire to allow for possibility, which may occasionally poke out between stitches. Our dolls are not intended for heavy play, so we typically do not recommend any item with safety eyes or wire for children under 8. If you would like to order a baby-safe item, please message us, and we will be happy to create a custom plush or lovey that is safe for infants.
  • Are the plushies allergen-free?
    No, none of our items are allergen-free. All products are handmade in a household with both dogs and cats. You will likely find a cat hair or two even after we carefully clean your item before mailing it. Our fuzzy assistants do love to play with yarn!
  • How do I order a commission?
    If you'd like to commission us for any crochet item, email or message us with as many details as possible including colors, patterns, size, extra details, whether it needs to be baby-safe, etc. From that information, we'll send you a quote for your commission and our ideas for how to make your vision come to life. We require 50% of the quote prior to any work on your commission and will need the final 50% before we mail it out.
  • What kind of commissions do you offer?
    If you can dream it, we can crochet it! Past commissions include baby blankets, loveys, jumbo plushies, a matching nursery set, and so many more. Most of our commissions come from individuals wanting to gift an item to an infant, as the products we sell on the shop have safety eyes and therefore are not baby safe.
  • I ordered a custom doll and I'm not satisfied, can I get money back?
    We don't offer refunds. With custom orders, we will send photos before shipping the item to ensure you are satisfied with your item. Please be sure to respond to our messages and point out any changes you'd like made to your custom doll BEFORE we send it. Once it's been shipped, you will not be ableto get a refund or make additional changes.
  • My package got lost in the mail, can I get a refund?
    We do not offer refunds even for lost packages, however we would be happy to remake and send your item again for a fee (typically, the cost of materials and shipping only).
  • Do you offer returns and refunds?
    Currently, we do not offer returns or refunds. Due to our plushies being crocheted, handmade, and soft, we cannot sanitize them and therefore cannot resell them. We apologize for the inconvience, but please know that we only have this rule to protect our customers.
  • Will I receive a tracking number?
    Yes. We ship all our items through USPS. They will send you tracking information to the email or text number you submit when purchasing.
  • How long will my item take to ship?
    In-Stock items typically take 2-3 business days to ship. Custom items can take up to 3 weeks depending on the item in question.
